| Dr. J Hansen is a Co-Founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors of GRC Solutions, Inc. Prior to joining the GRC Solutions team, he was the Senior Vice President of Consulting Service for RiskWatch Inc. Other positions held by Dr. J Hansen in the security/audit industry include Senior Vice President and Chief Security Officer (CSO) of the Dyntek Corporation (A NASDAQ 100 company now located in Irvine California) and Senior Field Auditor for CanAudit,Inc. Simi Valley, California. For the past fifteen years, he has served as a board member and Sub-Chairman of the Board of Directors for CRISP Technologies, Inc., Calgary, Canada and Nice, France.
Dr. J Hansen has been a featured speaker on numerous occasions over the past two decades for ISACA worldwide conferences on Security and Privacy and IIA conferences in the USA on Security Audit of networks and mainframe systems. He has served as the Director of the Off Campus Graduate Programs and teaching Professor in the School of Business of Southern Illinois University and Florida Gulf Coast Universities. As an experienced senior manager, hands-on field auditor, technical presenter and university professor, Dr. J Hansen is a national and international recognized expert in information security/privacy, risk assessment and compliance auditing. Dr J earned his PhD in Administration from St Louis University, his MBA in Information Systems and his BS in Management from Southern Illinois University. Dr J was a Fellow on the Illinois Governor's Council for Computer Sciences and is a Certified Government Financial Manager, a U.S. Merchant Marine Officer and certified sea captain. Dr J's other passions include his family, playing in a Dixieland-style jazz band, catching big fish, and golfing. |
| An experienced System Architect, Brian has excelled in the design and development of software that focused on risk assessment, compliance workflow and related tools. With over 33 years of software application development experience on mainframe, PC. Unix/Linux and web-based platforms, he has a proven track record for innovative application and system design. He has designed, developed, and managed the development of timely and successful solutions across a wide variety of industries including financial management, manufacturing, voice and data network design, full text management, publishing, and risk management and compliance. A sought after speaker, Brian has received international industry recognition for his innovative developments. Over the past five years Brian has worked as Chief Technical Architect specializing in developing new product features and content as well as custom solutions for individual clients for a major producer of risk assessment software.
Brian wrote his first professional software application in 1976, at the age of 15. A recipient of numerous awards and scholarships, Brian has studied computer science, information systems, and business management at the Rochester Institute of Technology, the State University of New York, and the University of Maryland. Brian has augmented his professional experience through leadership development and community service organizations and has received national recognition for his efforts. When not sitting in front of a computer, Brian enjoys spending time with his family, relearning how to play the guitar, fishing, and home improvement. |
